Youngstown State University
Founded in 1908 and located on a beautiful 140-acre metropolitan campus in Youngstown, Youngstown State University offers a broad selection of major programs backed by a strong tradition of student-centered teaching and research. Youngstown State University offers a comprehensive selection of programs from certificate to doctorate in one location. The university offers over 100 undergraduate majors through its six colleges:

- Health and Human Services
The School of Graduate Studies and Research offers 34 master's programs and a doctorate in educational leadership. YSU is also a consortium member of the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. Non-credit courses are offered through the Office of University Outreach, and an off-campus Metropolitan College site in Boardman offers credit and non-credit classes. Youngstown State University is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, Division I, Horizon League; Division 1-AA, Gateway.
